Jamie M. Enser is the Executive Director of the University at Buffalo Center for the Arts (CFA), a multidisciplinary arts venue within one of America’s leading public research universities. Welcoming nearly four million guests through its doors since 1994, the CFA features a wide range of artistic performances, exhibitions, touring productions, and university events. Since becoming the Executive Director in July of 2019, Enser has been leading the CFA's transformation into a thriving arts hub where the university's arts departments and community come together to make and experience art.
Enser brings unique experiences to the role, with expertise in touring performances, events, sports, media, and television network production. Prior to this, Jamie transformed the CFA's production operation into the UB Production Group (UBPG), a professional resource dedicated to supporting University-wide technical and video production and serving as a bridge between the academic and professional realms. As the Director of Production Operations at the CFA for more than fifteen years prior, Enser supervised the operation of a diverse variety of over 8,000 performances, events, and productions. This includes national touring music artists and dance companies, festivals and concert series, distinguished speakers and comedians, family and theatrical shows, and a full array of university and community events.
Before UB, Enser worked in television production management at several networks, including Nickelodeon, MTV, CNN, and others in Los Angeles, Orlando, and Atlanta. She is the recipient of a state Emmy® and multiple national Telly awards.
